2007
et in terra pax

During the summer of 2006, we experienced first hand some of the results of fighting and war, when Cyprus became the host of thousands of displaced people from Lebanon. This experienced brought forth the title of the 2007 event et in terra pax– peace on earth.

It was held on Wednesday, 21 March 2007, at the Kastelliotissa Medieval Hall, in Nicosia

Due to other engagements that kept him in Greece, Nicos Charalambous was unable to undertake the direction of the event. Neoclis Neocleous, proved to be a worthy successor to Nicos.

The event was an international poetry meeting involving:

45 creators - 38 poets (eight from abroad)
4 visual artists (one from abroad)
2 musicians
Ι dancer

Poems were recited in ten languages and two dialects:

An anthology of poems and art of all the participating artists and poets was published
